Here at Columbia First Assembly, we are blessed that God has stragetically placed our church in a community of need. As of January 2009 we have implimented a strategic outreach ministry to begin to meet these needs.

Our Motto: Answering the call; reaching Columbia home by home, business by business.
Our Purpose
- To allow God to use us in whatever method as workers in the Harvest; to answer the call to "go". Matthew 9:37,38
- To spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who have not heard. Romans 10:14,15
- To reach our community person by person, house by house, and business by business through the direction of the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:8
Our Vision
- We must understand our community, its culture and people
- We must communicate the Gospel message through diverse media
- We must meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the people
- We must make disciples who publically confess Jesus Christ as Lord
The Teams
- Service Team
- To represent the love of Christ through directly serving our community through a variety of means such as: aiding the elderly, food drives, minor home repair, and partnering with other community service programs
- Welcome Team
- To openly accept and to make apart all people God calls. To be the face of Columbia First Assembly through hospitality and serve in areas such as: guest assistance, door greeters, ushers, and follow-up ministers.
- Multimedia Team
- To annouce the Gospel through a diverse market place. To promote the advancement of the Gospel through graphic media/film and support the advertisement of other ministries.
- Evangelism Team
- As a team, to spread the Gospel directly to our community and invite them into the Body of Christ. As the Holy Spirit leads, to witness to our neighborhood through a diverse and creative means such as: direct evangelism, praying for the sick, and fun/family activities.
