Meet Our Staff
Senior Pastor, Tracy, Joy, Hannah, & Abbie Cook
Pastor Tracy is a Columbia native, having grown up here at Columbia First Assembly, and is a 1983 Hickman High School graduate. After graduating, Pastor Tracy attended Central Bible College in Springfield, MO. Later, he served as a youth pastor in Indiana and Kansas City, MO. for eleven years. Then, as an associate pastor for four years, prior to becoming Columbia First Assembly’s Senior Pastor in 2002. His wife Joy is an Omaha, Nebraska, native and is a music teacher by trade. Pastor Tracy and Joy have two children, Hannah and Abbie.
Associate & Youth Pastor, Michael, Bekah, Zach & Lydia Jouret Pastor Michael has served as First Assembly’s Youth Pastor since 2003. He grew up here at First Assembly, and graduated from Hickman High School in 1992. He followed his High School graduation with a year and a half studying at the University of Missouri. From there God led him to Central Bible College where he received his B.A. in Biblical Studies in 1998.
His wife, Bekah, graduated from the University of Missouri in 1999 with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education. The following year she received a Masters of Education also from MU. She has taught in the Columbia Public Schools at West Boulevard Elementary for the last 10 years. Bekah enjoys singing, shopping, and decorating.
Pastor Michael and Bekah have two children Zach and Lydia. They love seeing the lives of kids, youth, and adults transformed by the love of God.
Church Operations & Young Adult Pastor, Heath & Beth Harris
Pastor Heath and Beth both call Farmington, Missouri home. They attended the University of Missouri, Pastor Heath receiving a B.A. in Psychology and Beth a M.A. in Physical Therapy. While attending Mizzou, they ministered to college students for five years with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries, a college ministry sponsored by the Assemblies of God. After graduating, Pastor Heath worked as a Youth Specialist with the Division of Youth Services. Also, upon Beth's graduation in 2008, God provided her a job locally as a licensed Physical Therapist. In September of 2008, God directed them to take a position at Columbia First Assembly.
